What is Colloidal Silver?

Have you heard of a ‘miracle’ product known as colloidal silver?  Colloidal silver is similar to an antibiotic but it kills more than bacteria; it destroys viruses and eliminates fungal infections. So far, bacteria that are resistant to silver haven’t developed, while colloidal silver can destroy antibiotic-resistant pathogens.

The basic reason for any colloidal silver efficacy and safety controversy is that the medical establishment  and the pharmaceutical industry  see colloidal silver as a financial threat. While you may have been cautioned against using colloidal silver, know that colloidal silver benefits are tried and true. 

How is Colloidal Silver Made?

Colloidal silver is composed of actual silver particles suspended in water. We use a professional micro particle generator that runs an electrical current between two silver wires to suspend the silver into the water.  The size of the particles is extremely small, providing an overall large surface area thought to be more biologically effective. These microparticles of silver are in a stable chemical state and don’t combine with other atoms. They are believed to be better at killing bacteria, fungus, and viruses than other types of silver products. Our high vibe silver is made in a production room with added high frequency tones and crystals. 

What is Micro Particle?

The main difference between a  Micro-Particle Colloidal Silver and conventional colloidal silver is particle size. While conventional colloidal silver  produce silver particles that can be so large your pet  has great difficulty absorbing and utilizing them, the Micro-Particle Colloidal Silver  we use produces highly bio-available silver particles as low as .0008 microns so small, they are about as close to being “dissolved” silver particles as you can get.

How Well Does Colloidal Silver Work on Pets?

Colloidal Silver is the ideal way to boost your pets’ immunity and prevent disease, infections, and and other health concerns, naturally. Colloidal Silver is a wonderful natural and holistic health supplement for pets.  It has can be used as a disinfectant, especially if you are a raw feeder and need to keep your feeding areas germ free.    Our Colloidal Silver for pets can save you from expensive trips to the veterinarian, just the office visit alone is pricey – then add to that the extra cost  of medication.  Mostly, the antibiotics that are  prescribed to your dog or cat are immune system suppressants and can be the cause of antibiotic resistance over the long run.  Colloidal Silver for Pets  does not cause this same germ resistance. 

From the late 1800s though about 1938 Colloidal Silver was  the most prescribed  way to treat many kinds of diseases, infections and viruses. When the age of antibiotics in the late 1930’s and big Pharma Colloidal Silver lost its popularity, the same thing occurred with Homeopathic medicine.  Too cheap to make and sell and very little profit for the drug companies.  

How Does Colloidal Silver work?

Colloidal Silver surrounds and suffocates the bacteria, germ or viruses  oxygen metabolizing enzyme, which is the way to aspires and replicates. This suffocation process usually happens within just a few minutes.

Pathogens can become resistant to allopathic antibiotics, causing even more resistant strains creating worse-infections.  The way these conventional anti-biotics work, it allows these pathogens  enough time to become resistant by mutating  so the organism can become immune to the antibiotic before the antibiotic  can actually take effect.

Is Colloidal Silver better stored in glass then plastic?

Colloidal silver actually plates out on glass, not plastic, depending on the type of plastic. Our cobalt blue bottles are a high quality, pharmaceutical grade PET plastic. 

Not all plastics are created equal! One researcher  brewed a batch of CS, measured it with a spectrophotometer for accurate ppm level, and then stored this batch in several types of plastics for an extended period of time. He then measured the CS from each container to see if the ppm had increased (which would indicate that the plastic was dissolving, or "bleeding" into the CS).

He said the milky-white plastic such as milk frequently is sold in (as well as most 1-gallon bottles of various types of spring and distilled water) was quite guilty of this bleeding-phenomena. The plastics that changed the ppm level not at all (10.7 ppm was still 10.7 ppm, even after extended storage) were the hard, shiny plastic such as soda pop comes in which is PET plastic. 

Polyethylene Terephthalate(PET), is a High Density Polyethylene(HDPE),  are FDA approved and have been proven to be safe. 

PET does not contain plasticizers. “Plasticizers” are added to make plastics soft or flexible. For example, semi-rigid plastic like polyvinyl chloride (PVC or vinyl) typically contains about 10% by weight of plasticizers and is very soft, polyvinyl chloride tubing may contain as much as 80%. Under the right circumstances plasticizers can migrate out of certain plastics.

The International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI) – a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the scientific understanding of issues related to nutrition, food safety, toxicology, risk assessment and the environment – has comprehensively reviewed the scientific and technological aspects of PET.

In a report on PET for food packaging applications issued in July of 2000, ILSI summarizes the large body of test data that demonstrates the safety of PET resins and compounds for food and beverage containers:

“PET plastic itself is biologically inert if ingested, is dermally safe during handling and is not a hazard if inhaled. No evidence of toxicity has been detected in feeding studies using animals. Negative results from Ames tests and studies into unscheduled DNA synthesis indicate that PET is not genotoxic. Similar studies conducted with monomers and typical PET intermediates also indicate that these materials are essentially nontoxic and pose no threats to human health… It is important to stress that the chemistry of compounds that are used to manufacture PET shows no evidence of oestrogenic activity. There is a significant body of evidence that demonstrates that the use of PET is not a concern and is perfectly safe in this respect.”
