When I first started Holistic Pet Care many years ago, I never had dreams of creating a big corporation with layers of management, conveyor belts, lots of employees, and products flying through a warehouse as fast as possible.
That was never the vision.
I simply wanted to create natural products for animals with love, care, intention, and consciousness behind them. I wanted to make products the same way many things used to be made before the world became so rushed, disconnected, and mass-produced.
Today, most products are made in huge factories. Ingredients are sourced from all over the world, poured into giant machines, packaged by employees who may never even know what the product is for, and shipped out by the thousands. People come and go. The products become numbers and inventory. Fast production becomes more important than energy, thoughtfulness, or heart.
But animals are different.
Pets are deeply intuitive beings. They pick up on energy constantly. They feel our emotions, our stress, our joy, our presence, and even the consciousness behind the things we give them. Anyone who has truly connected with animals knows this to be true.
That is why I have always believed that the energy surrounding a product matters.
The way it is made matters.
The intention behind it matters.
At Holistic Pet Care, our products are not created on a giant assembly line. They are made in small batches with care and attention. We think about the animals they are going to help. We think about the families using them. We put consciousness into what we do because to us, this is not just business. It is part of a lifestyle and a philosophy.
I believe there is something very healing about supporting small family-run businesses. Whether it is a local farm, a farmers market, a handmade herbal company, or a small natural pet care business, there is often a human connection still present in the process. There is intention. There is accountability. There is heart.
Of course, it is not always the cheapest or the fastest way to do things. Small businesses face rising costs constantly. Ingredients cost more. Packaging costs more. Shipping costs more. But many of us continue anyway because we care deeply about what we are putting into the world.
In many ways, buying from small businesses is a conscious choice. It is a vote for a more connected and thoughtful world. One where people still create things with their hands, their hearts, and their integrity instead of simply maximizing output.
I think people are beginning to feel this again. There is a growing desire to reconnect with things that feel real, authentic, grounded, and alive.
And honestly, I think our pets feel it too.
One thing many people may not realize is that we are still a very small woman-run business. There are only a few of us here handling everything from making products, packaging orders, shipping, customer service, inventory, emails, and all the daily tasks that keep things moving.
Over the years, we found that having a full-time phone line became a job in itself. Many callers understandably wanted detailed help for their pets and their individual situations. As much as we truly wish we could personally help everyone, we simply are not large enough to support a full-time call center or offer the kind of one-on-one guidance that a holistic veterinarian, professional homeopath, or animal naturopath may provide.
That is why we prefer using our online chat and email support system. It allows us to answer questions more efficiently while still staying focused on creating and providing the products we make with care and intention.
So if you have questions, please use the online chat on our website whenever possible. We do our best to respond as quickly as we can.
And if you are looking for deeper individualized support for your pet’s health journey, please visit the contact page on our website where we provide resources for holistic veterinarians, homeopaths, and animal naturopaths who offer those services professionally.
Thank you for understanding and for supporting a small conscious business. It truly means the world to us.
Thank you to everyone who supports small businesses like mine. Thank you for supporting conscious creation, natural living, and products made with love and intention.
That support means more than you know.
