Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy

Holistic Pet Care was never created from a marketing plan. It grew naturally from my life's work and more than 40 years of studying natural health, first for people and then for animals.

Throughout my career, I've always been fascinated by one simple idea: nature already knows how to heal. Every living being has an incredible ability to restore balance when we provide the right conditions. Rather than chasing symptoms alone, I believe lasting wellness begins by supporting the whole animal through nutrition, environment, emotional well-being, immune function, and the body's own natural intelligence.

The Role of Energy and Vibration

One belief that has deeply influenced my work is that everything in nature exists as energy. Every living being, every plant, and every drop of water is constantly vibrating. While science can easily measure some forms of energy and vibration, many aspects remain difficult to explain or quantify. That hasn't stopped people throughout history from exploring the relationship between energy and health.

Like many people in the holistic community, I've been inspired by the work of Japanese researcher Masaru Emoto, who proposed that water may respond to words, music, intention, and vibration. These ideas have not been accepted by mainstream science, and I want to be transparent about that. They simply represent part of my personal philosophy after decades of observation, study, and working with thousands of animals and their families.

That philosophy became the inspiration behind HighVibe Silver.

How the Philosophy Is Applied to HighVibe Silver

When I create our silver, I don't simply manufacture a product. I create an environment that reflects what I believe supports positive energy.

We begin with highly purified distilled water that is carefully prepared using the methods I've developed over many years. During production, healing frequencies play throughout the room. Quartz crystals and shungite are placed near the water. Structured water techniques, sound, intention, and frequency all become part of the process.

Our production space also incorporates Tesla-inspired technology and a Lakhovsky-style multiple wave oscillator because I believe these contribute to creating a positive energetic environment.

Can every part of that process be measured by today's science? Not yet.

That doesn't diminish my belief in what I've experienced over decades of working with animals. These practices are simply an extension of my personal philosophy and the care I put into everything we create.

Health Is About More Than a Product

Our philosophy has never been about silver alone.

Health doesn't come from a bottle. It comes from creating the conditions where the body can do what it was designed to do.

That's why we place so much importance on species-appropriate nutrition, fresh food, reducing unnecessary toxins, supporting the microbiome and immune system, encouraging movement, lowering stress, spending time in nature, and respecting each animal's unique needs.

Every one of these pieces works together to support vitality.

A Lifetime Dedicated to Holistic Health

I've been following this path since becoming certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner in 1981. In the early 1990s, I began focusing my studies on holistic animal health through herbal medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, bodywork, and natural wellness.

In 1997, I became certified in Veterinary Homeopathy and opened my own holistic pet practice in Ashland, Oregon, years before holistic pet care became widely recognized.

Since then, public interest in natural health has grown tremendously. Therapies such as acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, herbal medicine, and other complementary approaches are now studied more extensively than they once were, and many people have incorporated natural wellness practices into their own lives.

It's encouraging to see more people becoming interested in supporting health proactively rather than focusing only on illness.

Why Holistic Pet Care Exists

That's exactly why Holistic Pet Care exists.

If you've ever chosen healthier food, taken an herbal remedy, explored homeopathy, practiced meditation, or searched for a more natural way to care for yourself, then you already understand the philosophy behind what we do.

My hope is simply to offer those same possibilities for the animals who share our lives.

I've never felt it was my job to convince anyone.

My role is to share what I've learned over a lifetime, create products that reflect my values, continue learning every day, and help pet parents raise healthy, happy, high-vibe companions through a more natural approach to wellness.

Working With Nature

Everything we create begins with one simple belief:

When we work with nature instead of against it, remarkable things become possible.

The core idea: water and vibration

The brand's founding belief is that everything, water, silver, living bodies, vibrates at an energetic frequency, and that a higher, more balanced frequency supports better health. This idea draws on a long tradition in holistic and energy-healing circles, most visibly the work of Japanese researcher Masaru Emoto, who proposed that water's physical structure responds to words, music, and intention. It is not a claim recognized by mainstream science, and HPC's own content should say so plainly wherever the philosophy is explained, that transparency is what makes the story trustworthy rather than a hidden assumption.

How it's applied to the product

HighVibe Silver's production process reflects this philosophy directly. Water is distilled and distilled, then "structured", a process the brand believes gives it a more coherent energetic quality. Quartz crystals and shungite are added to the water. Healing frequencies play in the production room. Bottled silver is placed near positive-energy plates based on Tesla-inspired technology, and a Lakhovsky-style multiple wave oscillator broadcasts additional frequency into the room. The belief is that this combination of structuring, sound, crystals, and intention channels a more beneficial energy into the water before it becomes colloidal silver.

How it's applied to pet care more broadly

The same philosophy extends past the product itself into a general theory of pet wellness: a pet's immune system and vitality are described in vibrational terms, with a species-appropriate diet, a calm and toxin-light environment, and time in nature framed as ways to keep that vibration high. The "High Vibe Tribe" community built around this philosophy is where pet parents who share this worldview connect, ask questions, and support each other.

A Longer Tradition, and Where Jewel Fits

Alternative and holistic medicine has moved from fringe to mainstream in the U.S. over the last few decades. Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and homeopathy are now covered by many insurance plans, taught in a growing number of medical schools, and the subject of an entire center at the National Institutes of Health (NCCIH) dedicated to studying them. That's a real, documented shift, not an opinion, and it's a stronger frame for Jewel's story than "pioneer" alone: she was practicing this approach for pets before it had that kind of mainstream company.

The approaches I've built my life's work around, herbal medicine, homeopathy, energy-based healing, aren't fringe ideas. They're part of a tradition that's moved from alternative to mainstream over the last few decades, with acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine now taught in medical schools and covered by many insurance plans. I was bringing that same tradition to pet care back in 1997, long before it had that kind of company.

There's also a real, documented audience here: NIH's National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health puts homeopathy and/or herbal therapy use at about 18.6% of U.S. adults in the past year, roughly 42 million people, with about 5 million of those using homeopathy specifically. There's no formal research tracking how many of them also want that same approach for their pets, so we won't invent a crossover number, but the logic holds on its own: someone who already trusts homeopathy or herbal remedies for themselves isn't a new audience to convince, they already believe the underlying philosophy. They just haven't been shown yet that it extends to their pets. If you've ever reached for a homeopathic remedy for yourself before running to the pharmacy, you already understand what I'm doing here, just for your pets. Millions of Americans use homeopathy, herbal remedies, and other natural approaches for themselves every year, and most of them want to make health decisions for their animals with those same instincts. That's exactly why I built Holistic Pet Care: not to convince you of something new, but to give you a place to bring what you already believe about your own health to your pet's.
